Burgenland starts health offensive: Further training for hospital physicians is booming!
In a trend-setting measure to improve medical training in Burgenland, the Karl Stix fund has decided on a comprehensive reform of its statutes. As the official website of burgenland.at is significantly expanded for the quality of medical care in the to increase Burgenland hospitals. This initiative is implemented in cooperation with Governor Hans Peter Doskozil and Medical Association President Christian Toth and includes a new training package as well as support in examination and training costs. For example, the fee for the specialist examination for doctors is taken over once, and 50 percent of the costs for emergency doctor training courses are also reimbursed.
A main goal of this reform is, as in krone.at Article to increase the attractiveness of Burgenland clinics as an employer. The measures also include cooperation with the Forum for Medical Training (FOMF GmbH) and special offers for departments that are covered by "Med Update". Furthermore, around 750 doctors in Burgenland have access to scientific journals and publications in order to continuously expand their knowledge. These projects are part of the broader health offensive in Burgenland, which aims at clinical buildings and extensions of medical services in order to target the challenges that shape the current health system.
"Burgenland is the first federal state to offer such a further training offer through public funds nationwide to all clinics," explains Doskozil, and underlines the importance of this measure. It is also emphasized that the excellent training in the region should be secured in the long term by these continuous training offers. "We would like to ensure that our doctors are always trained according to the latest medical standards," said Toth. These changes are a crucial step to strengthen the region's competitiveness on the health market.
