This was presented on July 10, 2024 and aims to improve access to the health system and health data for all citizens: inside until 2030. Among the eight defined strategic goals are telemedical offers and digital health apps that are to be developed in particular for chronic diseases in the coming year.

Other applications are planned for migraine patients: inside, heart attack patient: inside and for smoke cessation. These apps will be docting: In the inside, enable the health of their patients: better to monitor inside.

From the end of July 2024, the prerequisites will also be developed in order to be able to use health treatments across the board. The health insurance companies will check the applications for medical quality standards and data protection. After a corresponding certification, they can be "prescribed".

expansion of the electronic health file

An important step towards digital health care is the planned expansion of the electronic health record (ELGA). This is intended to centrally store information about medication, previous illnesses and laboratory findings. Rescue organizations and the health hotline 1450 are also given access to important health information in order to enable the patient to be provided faster and better.

The implementation of the EHEALTH strategy is part of a comprehensive plan that provides the federal government, the federal states and social insurance annually to digitize the health system. In the course of this, all image and laboratory findings are saved in the ELGA, and the health hotline 1450 is to be expanded into the first point of contact for health concerns. The priority is clearly on data security, as Health Minister Johannes Rauch emphasized.
