After a serious accident: farmer fights back into life!

Michael Kappel, a 52-year-old farmer from the west, started an almost incredible repository after a serious tractor accident on May 17 of last year. The accident occurred when Kappel drove on an uneven path and suddenly folded out his tractor's street, causing him to hit a tree head -on. During the impact, he was injured and moved into the artificial coma. Despite the heavy traumatic brain trauma, brain hemorrhage and complex fractures, he fights back into life. He emphasizes: "Thank God I was strapped. Without a seat belt I would not have survived", as Kreiszeitung reported.

Thanks to the immediate first aid by an attentive passer -by and the rapid reaction of the rescue workers, Kappel survived this terrible accident, the consequences of which held him in the hospital for months and in rehabilitation. "I got a second life for free," he reflects, expressing his gratitude for the support of his family, who maintained agricultural business during his absence. Kappel's recovery path was not easy; He had to learn to speak and go again. Despite the challenges, he is optimistic and pleased that he can spend the holidays with his family, which appears to him as the "greatest gift", according to the Weser-Kurier .

Returning to normal is an ongoing process for Kappel. On January 6th there is another inpatient rehabilitation stay, while he continues to promote awareness of security when driving. He calls for the introduction of the three -point belt in agricultural traffic and wants to encourage other farmers to make mindfulness. Despite the challenges, he thinks positively and fights back into his life as a farmer with tireless will.
