Großröhrsdorf celebrates: Christmas market with giant stollen and punch!

Großröhrsdorf. A festive spectacle is imminent! The Christmas market in Großröhrsdorf opens its goals on December 7th and 8th and promises an unforgettable experience. On the town hall forecourt, visitors can expect 23 lovingly decorated stalls that come up with traditional craft and homemade treasures. And the best? Mulled wine, children's punch, delicious longos, sausages and smoked fish are an absolute must!

A highlight for the little guests: The association unity has grabbed package! Ute Wirth, the chair, proudly announces: "130 packages are waiting to be distributed by Santa on Sunday between 2 and 4 p.m.." Children can bring their wish lists and look forward to a sweet surprise - 60 liters of free children are ready! While the little ones tinker, the adults can warm up with mulled wine and hunting tea.

Christmas market starts with a cut of giant tunnel

The big start will take place on Saturday at 2 p.m. with a musical program of the dance group of the Spielmannszug Pulsnitz. At 3 p.m. the giant tunnel is ceremoniously cut, accompanied by a appearance of the Nikolaus and the mayor Stefan Schneider (CDU). "Wichtel Willy" with his Christmas magic and the pop singer Angelika Martin, who ends the evening with her hits, ensures even more entertainment.

Fairy tale time already on Sunday morning

On Sunday it will be fairytale! At 9.30 a.m. and 11 a.m. the children can experience the play "Snow White and Rose Red" in the Märchentheater. From 2 p.m., festive brass sounds of the "Silberberg Musikanten" from Dresden will sound, followed by a dance theater. A children's puzzle ensures additional tension, and Santa Claus is expected again at the Christmas market at 4 p.m. A children's carousel and exhibitions in the local museum and Technical Museum complete the festive program!
