Music magic on ORF: Oud meets modern sounds!

Laimgrubengasse 10, 1060 Wien, Österreich - On Wednesday, December 11th, the ORF Radioculture House in Vienna will be the setting for a musical meeting party. Two outstanding artists appear in the "Solotogether" series: inside: the Syrian oud virtuoso Orwa Saleh and the Viennese sound artist Seba Kayan . Both have developed their very own style in their compositions and first present a solo set before stepping onto the stage together. The event begins at 8:00 p.m. in Studio 3 of the ORF Radioculture House. Entry costs 21 euros, with reduced prices for ORF Radioculture House map owners and members of the Ö1 club, such as ots.at reports.

Orwa Saleh completed an apprenticeship at the Higher Institute of Music in Syria and the National Conservatory in Lebanon and brings a connection from Sufi music and European jazz into play with its unique sounds. He has been living in Austria for several years and even received the integration price of the city of Linz with his 2016 ensemble. On the other hand, Seba Kayan combines Techno-Beats with the groovy sound of oriental music, so that a creative interaction between the Orient and Occident is created. The ORF Radioculturhaus itself is not only an important place for cultural events, but also an innovative event location that offers space for a wide variety of events, such as radiokulturhaus.orf.Af The building combines timeless architecture with the latest technology and is ideal for conferences, customer events and artistic events.
