A significant honor was recently awarded in the heart of Vienna. Kurt Mann, a respected entrepreneur and head of the well -known bakery chain "The Man", received the Golden Medal Mayor Michael Ludwig on Friday, October 4th. This happened in the festive framework of a ceremony that took place in the town hall and paid tribute to Mann's special contribution to the city.

In his speech, the mayor emphasized the indispensability of 170 traditional and family businesses for the cityscape, whereby the bakery of Kurt Mann was mentioned as an outstanding example. These companies give Vienna a unique face and contribute to the identity of the city. "The Kurt Mann bakery is closely connected to Vienna and is indispensable from our city," said Ludwig.

Kurt Mann's rise and innovative strength

Kurt Mann's path began as a small family business that his parents led. Today he heads a successful bakery chain with 80 branches and over 800 employees. The innovative strength of men was praised by the mayor because he is always ready to adapt to the changes in the market. This is also reflected in his business motto. A particularly memorable quote from Mann, which Ludwig referred to, says: "The most useless time in life is sleeping. You can't move anything, you can't think. You can only dream. And of course the dream remains a dream." This statement underlines man's zest for action and his discipline.

In addition to the current golden honorary signs, he received the title Commercial Council in 1984 and in 2006 the "Golden Honor of Honor for Services for the Republic of Austria".
