Exhibition Organics - Organic: A look at our future

Exhibition Organics - Organic: A look at our future

The upcoming exhibition entitled "Organics - Organic" promises an exciting examination of the concept of naturalness in an increasingly technological world. From November 26 to December 6, 2024, art lovers and interested parties are invited to look at the works of different artists who are devoted to this topic. The vernissage takes place on the opening evening at 7 p.m. in Kalvarienberggasse 46 in Vienna.

The focus of the exhibition is critical reflection on how life could feel in a society characterized by artificial intelligence, deep fakes and transhumanism. The term "organic", which comes from the Greek and refers to "organs", implies a harmonious interaction in nature, which is questioned by these changes. Visitors are invited to deal with these developments and ask themselves what this means for our future.

The artists and their works

The exhibition shows a remarkable variety of perspectives and interpretations. The following artists are included: Oliver Roman, Ingo Corado Wessely, Peter Krigovsky, Andreas Bernthaler, Eva-Marie Hild, David Cermak, Georgia Schicho, Dagmar Kleinowitz, Isabel Breininger, Roswitha Klein and Patricia Jaqueline. Each of these works should not only be amazed at visitors, but also stimulate thought.

The exhibition is open daily from 2 to 7 p.m. on weekdays, so that a general public has the opportunity to experience the thoughts and creations of the artists. It remains to be seen how visitors will react to the artistic disputes with the present and the challenges of the future.
