Tyrol's tourism revolutionized: Artificial intelligence for better service!
In Tyrol, innovative changes in tourism are pending: Patricio Hetfleisch, Marketing Manager of Tyrol Advertising, has launched an intelligent booking system and a new target group segmentation. This progress is crucial to secure competitiveness in the rapidly changing tourism landscape. Hetfleisch said that the use of modern technologies, such as the price booking monitoring and the destination insight, is essential in order to meet the needs of the guests and to optimally use resources. On a day -strong day in Tyrol, the region includes a total of one million people, including 770,000 locals and 230,000 guests. These high numbers illustrate the need for precise data for planning and organization in order to make offers and the necessary logistics efficiently, as ORF TIROL reported.
New target group model for more efficiency
The targeted address of the guests has top priority in the Tyrol advertising. In the course of this orientation, a tailor-made target group model was developed, which is based on the holiday motifs of the Alpine holidaymakers. The decision to switch from the Sinus milieus to a motif-based model came from the need to develop a more specific and operational strategy. Since 2019, numerous market research studies with over 35,000 interviews have given valuable insights into the behavior of potential guests, so that three main target groups could be identified: the "connected bundle of energy", the "relaxing families" and the "demanding travel fans". This segmentation makes it possible to develop tailor-made offers and to optimize the address of the customers in order to ultimately positively influence the holiday decisions in Tirol, which Linkedin informed.
With a forecast accuracy of 99 percent, the new systems can answer both investment issues and enable needs -based planning of the offers and services. Among other things, this includes planning the required number of employees in shops or at emergency services. By providing this information at the push of a button, it enables local companies to manage their resources more effectively and make better decisions. Het meat emphasizes the importance of these systems as indispensable for the future of Tyrolean tourism.
