Honors and successes: Annual General Meeting of the Fire Brigade See 2023
The fire brigade lake looked back on an eventful year when it held its annual general meeting on November 8th. KDT GSTREIN Thomas welcomed those present, including 75 members of the fire brigade and various guests of honor, including Mayor Michael Zangerl and honorary commander Helmuth Narr. This meeting took place in an atmosphere of respect and gratitude for the work done.
In the course of the reporting year, which lasted from November 1, 2023 to October 31, 2024, Lake fire brigade was able to look back on a high commitment of its members. A total of 15 missions, 126 exercises, 22 courses and numerous other activities such as competitions and events were handled. The 123 active members of the fire brigade provided remarkable 5,772 hours.

In the area of the competition, the fire brigade Lake showed an impressive activity. In various competitions, such as the state competition in Zell am Ziller, the groups were able to achieve remarkable success. During these competitions, numerous medals and badges were won in bronze, silver and gold. In particular, the newly formed group under the direction of honorary commander Narr and Alt Kdt Stv. Zangerl showed outstanding services.
Another important step was taken when a youth fire brigade was founded. On October 24, 2024, the foundation of the 24th youth fire brigade in the Landeck district was requested. Information events took place on October 19, in which 11 young people, including two girls, registered their interest in service to the youth fire brigade. This initiative is supervised by youth worker Olm Burger Roland and a dedicated team.
In addition, numerous awards for voluntary work were distributed at the meeting, including the practice of exercise in different categories. Particularly noteworthy is the introduction of new categories such as the "Kreuzkreuz in Platin" for 600 points and the "Exercise Cross in Diamond" for 1000 points. Promotions were also awarded that illustrate the recognition for the achievements of the active members.
The speeches of the guests of honor thanked the mayor Zangerl the promoted and emphasized the high willingness to perform of the fire brigade members. BFKStV Ladner and AK Kleinhans also talked about news from the district and the training sector. The importance of common exercises was emphasized by mountain rescue chairman Zangerl before the evening ended with a sociable get -together.
