A serious accident occurred on Monday, November 11, 2024, while woodwork in a private forest in Gröbming. A 73-year-old man was injured during work, which led to an immediate alarm by the rescue workers.

Around 11.30 a.m. the affected man and his 41-year-old son worked on the wooden harvest. When trying to move a felled tree, there was a dangerous incident. The two had attached a rope to the three -point winch of their tractor to move the tree trunk, but had to extend the rope because the original length was not sufficient. The accident and its consequences
