Last week in Wiener Neustadt, the new Kammanngasse kindergarten was opened with a ceremonial ceremony by Hofrat Dr. Gertrud Buttlar opens. Mayor Klaus Schneeberger and City Councilor for Education Philipp Gruber underlined the special importance of this kindergarten project during the opening speech. They emphasized the importance of creating a new space for early childhood education and emphasized that the naming was a tribute to the late Councilor Dr. Gertrud Buttlar is a respected personality in the city. “The kindergarten is not only visually appealing, but it also offers a pleasant environment for children and teachers,” said the two city representatives.

The architects placed great emphasis on a friendly and bright atmosphere that encourages a sense of well-being and supports the children's creative development. The head of the kindergarten, Monika Handler, reported on the positive response from the little guests, who clearly feel comfortable and enjoy coming to the new premises. The design meets the needs of the children and creates an inspiring environment.

Schneeberger and Gruber also pointed out that the newly opened facilities are part of a broader plan that includes two more kindergartens in the city. The inauguration of the Kammanngasse kindergarten represents an important step towards strengthening the educational infrastructure in Wiener Neustadt.

Construction and planning by the cooperative

The kindergarten was realized by the EGW cooperative in collaboration with the general planner and master builder Jürgen Witt. Through close collaboration between the city, architects and builders, a modern concept was created that meets both aesthetic and functional requirements and at the same time offers the children a safe and appealing learning environment.

“The next steps are already being planned,” said those responsible. The kindergartens in the Döttelbachsiedlung and Am Kleinen Lazarett are scheduled to open in the coming weeks, which will further concretize the city's efforts to promote early childhood care.
