Ravelsbach says goodbye to Franz Auer: A look at his term
Franz Auer, the long -time road master of the road maintenance department in Ravelsbach, says goodbye to professional life after more than four decades. With effect from December 1st, Auer goes into a well -deserved retirement, where he looks back on an impressive career. His responsibilities included the management of 45 employees who are responsible for maintaining and expanding the road network in and around Ravelsbach. On November 30, the official handover of the keys took place to his successor Johann Steiner.
Auer started his work in Ravelsbach in 1981 and has held the position of the road master since 2002. In a conversation with the NÖN, he described the many challenges and achievements that this time brought with him. He is particularly remembered by the participation in the construction of the Maissau bypass, a project that was launched as a PPP pilot project (private-public partnership). With this innovative form of financing, Auer was able to actively contribute to improving the infrastructure in the region.
A look at the successes
During his term in office, Auer managed numerous projects and worked closely with the community and other authorities to improve the traffic conditions in Ravelsbach. His commitment and leadership competence not only contributed to the modernization of the transport infrastructure, but also for the safety of the many road users.
He is estimated not only as a manager, but also as a mentor and friend. His ability to motivate teams and create a positive working atmosphere was crucial for the successful implementation of many road projects. Auer himself said that he always felt the collaboration with his team as an enrichment and is proud to have been part of this community.
With the appointment of Johann Steiner as his successor, a chapter comes to an end, but not without hope for a successful continuation of the projects and initiatives that Auer has created. Bernhard Mayer remains the manager in Ravelsbach and will ensure that the transition runs smoothly and that the high quality of street care remains maintained. The challenges that lie in front of the new street master are great, but the experiences that Auer gained during his long -term career will certainly have a positive impact on his successor.
The farewell to Auer is not only a loss for the road maintenance department, but also for the entire community, which could benefit from its passion and tireless efforts. When he said goodbye, a significant part of the history and the development phase of the Ravelsbach road maintenance phase will end, but his heir will continue to be noticeable.
his story and the milestones he has reached will live on in the hearts of his former employees and the community. The new section in Franz Auer's life now has time for family and leisure, while his successors accept the challenges associated with this important office.
