Franz Auer, the long -time road master of the road maintenance department in Ravelsbach, says goodbye to professional life after more than four decades. Auer started his work in Ravelsbach in 1981 and has held the position of the road master since 2002. He is particularly remembered by the participation in the construction of the Maissau bypass, a project that was launched as a PPP pilot project (private-public partnership). With this innovative form of financing, Auer was able to actively contribute to improving the infrastructure in the region.
