Festive honors for Father Georg Kaps and Deacon Roland Senk
In the parishes Gmünd Herz-Jesu and Großdietmanns recently celebrated a party mood when Father Georg Kaps celebrated his 75th birthday. Deacon Roland Senk also had a special occasion to celebrate because he committed his 25th anniversary. During the festive services, both anniversaries were given numerous congratulations.
Father Georg received a number of symbolic gifts from the community that should appreciate his long -term commitment. The service was accompanied musically by a church choir and the scouts that contributed to the festive atmosphere. Roland Senk was also honored during the service celebrations that took place as part of the Thanksgiving Festival.
new challenges as a vicar
For over two decades, Father Georg has been a pastor in Gmünd-Neustadt and also takes on pastoral responsibility in the parish of Dietmann. There are significant changes in the coming October because the Gmünder parishes and Dietmanns are planning to found a new parish association. From that moment on, Father Georg will act as a vicar and offer his services in three parishes. In a current parish leaf, he commented on the words: "As a vicar, I will help everywhere where it will be necessary and how my strength allow it."
Recently, Father Georg handed over his management tasks to his successor, Father Tomáš Vyhnálek, and looks back on an eventful time in Gmünd-Neustadt.
a life full of commitment
Father Georg accompanied people in various life situations in the parish of Gmünd-Neustadt, from baptism to the end of death. Its numerous initiatives have enriched the life of the community. These include the renovation of the organ in the Herz-Jesu Church, the renovation of the rectory and the rectory, the renewal of the baptism chapel and the expansion of the parish center.
At the celebrations on the occasion of his birthday, the deputy parish council chairman, Hermione Cizek, Father Georg thanked for his valuable contributions to the community. "We are grateful that he remains an important part of our parish as a priest," she said in her thank -you word.
The well -wishers, including representatives of the parish of Dietmann and the elementary school children of the school there, paid tribute to the popular spiritual respect and gratitude. The community is looking forward to continuing to benefit from its experienced support and support.
