Inclusive care center in Carinthia strengthens community feeling
At the recently opened inclusive daycare location in Finkenstein, the Carinthia relief organization has created a new, innovative place of care. This location offers space for 35 children in two groups and, through cooperation with the Lebenshilfe Carinthia, promotes the exchange between children and people with impairments. The premises use jointly used areas, such as the dining room of Lebenshilfe to intensify this exchange.
The official opening was celebrated with a warm welcome song and a finger game of the children. Pastor Marjan Gallob and the pastor Thomas Körner blessed the new premises, which underlined the solemn character. Afterwards the little guests were able to try out their dexterity at various autumn stations while the parents could enjoy a buffet.
