Teheran, Iran - A violent winter storm caused chaos in Iran on Sunday, February 8, 2025. According to the state news agency IRNA, all schools and government offices were closed to react to the extreme weather conditions. This combination of strong snowfall and sudden cold slump was a surprise for many people, since snow is expected in February, but the intensity is rather unusual.
