Digital future in Lower Austria: Funded over 150 projects for EUR 7.5 million!

Digitization is progressing in Austria and the current programs aim to support small and medium -sized companies (SMEs) in this transition. As part of the “Digi4wirtschaft” program, companies are encouraged to develop data -based application solutions. Since the initiative started, over 2,100 projects with a total funding of around 44 million euros have been supported, which has led to private digital investments of over 87 million euros. For 2025 there are again four million euros in funding that will soon be exhausted.

Funding program SME.Digital

In addition to "Digi4wirtschaft", there is the "SMU.Digital" program, which specifically aims to open up the digitization potential of Austrian SMEs. This program offers incentives to support the conception, implementation and market launch of digital projects.
