Miss Germany 2025: New competition in Europa-Park – the audience decides!
The next few months will be of historical importance for Europa-Park in Rust: The last presentation of the Miss Germany Award will take place in this well-known amusement park on February 22, 2025. After the grand finale, the event will move to another city, marking the end of an era.
This year the Miss Germany show will be held directly in the Europa-Park Dome with an innovative livestream concept. This means switching from the traditional arena to a new venue. Next week the nine finalists will be announced, selected from the current top 8 semi-finalists. The selection and the event itself have the motto of celebrating women with ambitions and visions.
New selection process and audience involvement
The Miss Germany election will change fundamentally this year. The jury will be divided into three categories – Female Founder, Mover and Leader. Criteria for selection are professionalism, development potential and ability to inspire. On this evening, the audience can also vote and decide who will ultimately wear the coveted crown.
Another novelty: In addition to the election of Miss Germany, the best candidates will also be awarded the titles “Female Founder Award”, “Female Mover Award” and “Female Leader Award”. The awards ceremony will of course take place in the presence of numerous prominent guests and relatives of the candidates, with some tickets being offered for free sale.
A look into the future
What is particularly interesting is the fact that the competition's 100th anniversary is coming up in 2027. This has led organizers to plan a change of venue to offer new perspectives and opportunities. Miss Germany has changed significantly since it was founded as a beauty competition in 1927 and now advocates for women who want to take on leadership responsibility and play a role in society.
Max Klemmer, who has been running the family business since 2019, not only wants to promote other ideals of beauty with the current season, but also permanently change the image of women. The focus is now less on the external appearance and more on the skills and successes of the candidates. The changes that accompany the Miss Germany competition not only reflect social developments, but also the challenges that women face today.
