Shock in Neukölln: apartment is on fire - tenant evacuated!
In Neukölln, a dramatic apartment fire broke out on Tuesday in Grenzallee. Flames blazed on the third floor of an apartment building and spread to the roof. Thanks to the quick intervention of the fire brigade, which was on site with 66 emergency services, a complete roof fire could be prevented. The fire brigade searches with drones for embers, while the tenants concerned were safely accommodated in a BVG bus. Fortunately, there were no injuries, such as the Berliner Morgenpost
Meanwhile, a tragic death in Wuthenow, a district of Neuruppin, shocked the region. A 43-year-old was found dead after the fire brigade was suspected of carbon monoxide poisoning. Initial investigations indicate that she wanted to refuel an emergency generator in the basement of her single -family house, but possibly got gasoline onto the engine. This dangerous situation also led to injuries to another 69-year-old resident who had to be hospitalized. Carbon monoxide is an extremely toxic gas that arises from incomplete combustion and can lead to fatal consequences, such as the Ermittlungen-zu-todesfall-stoli-polmi-caval monoxide poisoning-dpa.
These incidents also make a lightly improve on the urgency of security measures and the dangers that lurk in the usual everyday situations. While the fire brigade in Neukölln fought for the citizens with full risk, many in Wuthenow had to deal with the unexpected loss of a friend and neighbor, which illustrates the susceptibility of the community for such tragedies.
