In the night of March 13, 2025, around 11 p.m., a dramatic vehicle fire occurred on the L38 from Lans towards Innsbruck. The 31-year-old Bulgarian driver initially noticed a smell of fire from the engine compartment when he drove in Aldrans. Immediately he steered his vehicle on the right side of the road and found that flames were already getting out of the engine compartment.
