Culture and excitement: Discover events in Greiz and Zeulenroda!
Greiz. On Monday, October 21st, several interesting events and outstanding news were announced in the Greiz region. Particularly noteworthy are a crime reading in Zeulenroda and an initiative to repair electrical appliances that are intended to encourage people to rethink.
On Wednesday, October 23rd, an exciting crime reading entitled “Do you have time?” will take place in the Kreuzkirche Zeulenroda. by Andreas Winkelmann. This reading, which begins at 7 p.m., promises exciting insights into his current crime novel, which was published this summer. Those interested can purchase tickets in advance, which are available at various points of sale, including the local tourism center at Zeulenrodaer Meer.
Repair defective devices sustainably
As part of the growing movement for sustainable action, Greiz has a special offer. On Tuesday, October 22nd, the Greiz Reparbaren opens its doors between 5 and 7 p.m. This initiative encourages citizens not to simply throw away defective electrical devices, but instead to repair them together. Attendance is free, but cell phones and computers are prohibited for this event. At the 10arium premises, participants can bring in their devices and receive help with repairs. Such initiatives not only promote sustainability but also strengthen the community.
Call for witness statements for illegal car racing
In another, less pleasant event, the police in Gera are asked to help. On Friday, October 18th, around 2 p.m. there was an illegal car race between two Mercedes drivers that took place at Keller's brickworks. Unfortunately, this dangerous action put several uninvolved vehicles at risk. The police are urgently looking for witnesses who can provide information about this incident. Those affected or observers are asked to call 0365/82 90.
In addition, from Monday, October 21st to Thursday, October 24th, some road sections will be closed on the Frankfurt a.M. lane between the Ronneburg and Gera junctions, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., due to inspection work on traffic sign gantries. Despite these closures, traffic should flow with two lanes maintained.
Another exciting event will take place on Tuesday, October 22nd, in Zeulenroda-Triebes, where ideas for refreshing the city center and combating vacancies will be developed. From 6:30 p.m., city councilors from the CDU and WG24 invite you to the loft in the high-rise building on Ernst-Thälmann Allee 3D to think together about the future of the city. Such events are essential for local urban development.
