Fire tragedy in indulgence: Family Frind loses everything-call for donations!
Drain. On October 17th at 2.30 a.m. The roof structure ignited and raid the same turned their dreams into smoke. The desperate Bianca Frind (40) managed to wake her sleeping children, Leon Holger (17) and Laura Maria Paula (14) in time and prevent the worst. However, the beloved parrot Clara did not survive the horror and burned in the flames.
"A big bang, and I knew that it was serious!" Recalls Torsten Frind (55), member of the volunteer fire brigade. He quickly alerted the fire brigade and hurried to the tool shed, while the flames threatened to attack neighboring houses. Thanks to the courageous use of the firefighters from Ablaß, Oschatz, Mügeln and Wermsdorf, worse things could be prevented. The police have now confirmed that there is no external fault and the cause of the fire could be clarified.
Financial ruin after the fire
But the devastating damage that affected the entire roof structure and the room ceilings on the upper floor make the Situation unsustainable. As if that weren't enough, the family is now facing financial ruin. "Our insurance does not want to pay!" Bianca Frind is annoyed. After moving to the new home ten months ago, the insurance simply did not want to react and did not update the policy.
The Frinds had to leave everything behind-without valuables, without clothing. Now they hope for the support of the local people. "We urgently need clothes and furniture, because we want to stay in the indulgence and rebuild everything," says Torsten Frind. The family lives temporarily in the narrow home of Biancas uncle in Hohnstädt, and they pursue the aftermath of the terrible night. "We can hardly sleep, only have nightmares," added Bianca.
