The reason? A violent dispute with the honorary council of the association, which accuses Scholze an alleged benefit. The voluntary club boss, who works full-time as an investment manager, had shared a contribution on his private Instagram channel after a management of business people through the training center. But the hashtags he used only refer to his professional activities and not to the club. This led to the accusation that he wanted to advertise his business interests through his volunteering in the club.

The escalation of the Situation

For many, this may seem like a little thing, but it is serious for the club's internal arbitration tribunal. Honorary Council leader Andreas Göckeritz (63) explains: "You can see that as a trappalie if you are not well informed. Everyone could have a piece of cake at Dynamo." Scholze was sentenced to a fine of 1,000 euros, which he refused. As a result, the membership rights were withdrawn.

Although Scholze has done a lot for the club, Göckeritz justifies the escalation: "It was more about a last warning." Now the general assembly is pending, which should be decided whether the judgment of the Honor Council will be lifted. Scholze, who should act as the meeting manager, must not even participate. Göckeritz emphasizes that Scholze would only have to pay the punishment to be there, but he sees this as an admission of guilt and described the process as a "grotesque".
