A million euros for creative ideas: Start structural change in the area!

Magdeburg, Deutschland - Magdeburg. An exciting new chapter in structural change in Saxony-Anhalt has started! The third Revierpionier ideas competition has officially started and attracts a total of one million euros with an impressive prize money! From November 14, 2024 to January 16, 2025, all citizens, clubs, non-profit institutions as well as schools and daycare centers in the districts of Anhalt-Bitterfeld, Burgenlandkreis, Mansfeld-Südharz, Saalekreis and the city of Halle (Saale) must be called up to submit their creative ideas. Here is the opportunity to actively participate in the design of the future - and without any bureaucratic hurdles!

Prime Minister Dr. Reiner Haseloff emphasizes the importance of the competition: "The structural change in the brown coal center Saxony-Anhalt is a big challenge that can only be mastered together." The successes of the past few years speak for themselves: Over 130 projects were awarded in 2023, followed by 149 in 2024. Jürgen Ude, State Secretary for Structural Change, is optimistic: "I hope for also great ideas for 2025 with which people want to shape their homeland on site." The award -winning projects will be announced at the end of March 2025, and the prize money will flow from April 2025.

competitive categories and prize money

The submitted projects can be assessed in three exciting categories:

• territorial designs: Here, community projects are in the foreground that promote quality of life and civil society.
• future design: This category is aimed at children and adolescents and focuses on MINT topics as well as social and cultural projects.
• Founder designs: Innovative approaches to start -ups in the pre -foundation phase are sought here.

The prize money vary depending on the size of the project: up to 4,500 euros for small, 12,000 euros for medium and 21,000 euros for large projects. In addition, there is a flat -rate prize money of 6,000 euros for the start -up figures category.
