A million euros for creative ideas in structural change Saxony-Anhalt!

in the Central German area of Saxony-Anhalt, the third district pioneer ideas competition starts with impressive prize money of one million euros! From November 14, 2024 to January 16, 2025, citizens, associations, non -profit institutions as well as schools and daycare centers are called to submit their creative ideas for the activity of structural change. This opportunity for participation is not only a call to participate, but also a way to actively influence the future of the region!

Prime Minister Dr. Reiner Haseloff emphasizes the importance of the competition: "The structural change in the brown coal area Saxony-Anhalt is a big challenge that can only be mastered together." The previous competition years have shown that people in the region can develop innovative and sustainable solutions. State Secretary Dr. Jürgen Ude is optimistic: "After a successful competition year 2023 with over 130 award -winning projects, I hope for great ideas for 2025." The projects must be completed by November 30, 2025, and the prize money will be paid out from April 2025.

The submitted projects can be divided into three categories: territorial design promotes the community and the civil society commitment, future forms is aimed at children and adolescents with a focus on MINT issues, and start-up shapes supports innovative start-ups. The prize money vary depending on the size of the project: up to 4,500 euros for small, 12,000 euros for medium and 21,000 euros for large projects. The start -up figures category offers a flat -rate prize money of 6,000 euros.
