River Rats in a duel against Kempten: outsider chance for a surprise!
The Geretsrieder River Rats were defeated 2-4 in a home game against ESV Kempten on November 10th. This defeat reflects the River Rats' up-and-down season so far, which currently hovers between 1st and 15th in the table. Coach Hans Tauber Jr. is concerned about the next game against Kempten on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. and describes the team from Kempten as one of the strongest in the Bayernliga.
Kempten has stabilized between places 2 and 4 since the 5th matchday and impressed with solid statistics. ESV Kempten's top scorer, Sergej Topol, has scored 27 points so far. Anton Zimmer, Florian Stauder and Florian Höfler are also among the team's other top performers. Filip Kokoska strengthens the offense, while Tomas Kulhanek plays an important role in defense. Kempten has also signed Johannes Oswald, a talent from the Oberliga Nord. Hans Tauber sees the River Rats as clear underdogs in this upcoming duel.
Goals of the River Rats
The Geretsried team have won their last games against Miesbach (9:8 n.V.) and Klostersee (8:7 n.V.) and would like to show in Kempten that they are competitive.
