On Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., the ensemble of the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie (DRP) will take the stage and present a captivating program. The program includes masterpieces by Mozart, Strauss and Bruch that will take viewers into another world.

A program full of masterpieces
The concert opens with the “String Quartet in D major KV 575” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one of the three famous “Prussian Quartets” that saw the light of day in 1789. This is followed by Richard Strauss' moving work "Metamorphoses", which was completed shortly before the end of the Second World War in April 1945. The crowning finale is Max Bruch's “Octet for Strings in B Major,” which he composed just seven months before his death. A truly impressive repertoire!
