1,402 New champions for Münster's craft: Future secured!
Münster - On Sunday there was an important event in the Halle Münsterland: The Münster Chamber of Crafts honored a total of 1,402 new masters. This celebration was not only a highlight for the graduates, but also an important recognition of their achievements at a time when the craft plays a leading role in the economy.
State Minister of Labor Karl-Josef Laumann kept the speech and emphasized how important the new masters are for the future of their guilds. He emphasized: "We need top qualified people like them in the craft. With their knowledge and energy, they secure the future of their guild and actively shape them." Of the real ones who were honored, around 1,000 were personally present, while the remaining graduates had received their championship title in the past two years.
The value of master's degrees
Laumann made it clear that many business owners will leave the craft in the coming years. Against this background, the training of excellent specialists is of immense importance. The master premium was particularly mentioned in the context of the NRW skilled worker offensive, which is intended to set an incentive for master training. He warned that vocational training should receive the same appreciation as academic training: "Because the training is still wrongly appreciated."
Another central point of the event was the appeal that the craft acts as the foundation of the economy. Münster Mayor Markus Lewe emphasized: "The craft forms the foundation of our economy and is a strong innovation engine." He pointed out that today's masters secure the future of Münster and the region with their commitment.
Hans Hund, President of the Chamber of Crafts, gave the new masters a special meaning by explaining that the championship title is considered a seal of approval for quality, reliability and precision. This event celebrated not only the successes of individual graduates, but also the values of the craft such as innovation, independence and appreciation. At the same time, dog called for a reduction in bureaucracy and more support for the self -employed in order to promote the succession and foundation of new companies.
The event also included a special honor of outstanding master graduates, including Jonas Wilkens (roofer), Christoph Brockmann (electrical engineer) and many others from various craft areas. It is particularly positive that 12 percent of the graduates are female, which is even a majority in many trades such as gold and silversmiths and hairdressing. The age range of graduates ranges from 19 to 65, which underlines the diversity and accessibility of master training.
The Chamber of Crafts also ensured that the new masters will continue to be on time in the future. HWK general manager Thomas Banasiewicz invited her to constantly expand her knowledge through further training. In addition to these aspects, it was emphasized that those interested in start -ups can take advantage of the management consultancy of the Chamber of Crafts.
Overall, the master celebration was an inspiring event that underlined the importance of craft professions and the future prospects in the craft. The guests of honor present were impressed by the quality and commitment of the new masters and praised their promising future in the craft.
