Celebrate unit in the Lashorster community house: an evening of harmony!

In Preussisch Oldendorf, the Day of German Unity was celebrated in a new setting this year: Numerous guests and actors gathered in the Lashorster community house to shape the evening together. Thomas Brückner, who opened the event, warmly welcomed and thanked for the commitment of all participants.

The evening began with musical interludes from the home club, which reminded those present with an evening song that they are on the canal. This was followed by greetings from Mayor Marko Steiner, who brought the gathered a positive message. After that, the city center carer Sebastian Schröder took over the moderation and passed over to the first song. The songs were accompanied by the talented winds of the parish.

Explanation of the lyrics by young people

A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of song texts, which were supplemented by small explanations of the young people from the confirmation group. They had dealt intensively with the subjects of the songs to bring the background, content and their current importance closer to the guests. Although they were still a bit shy, but willingly took over this task, they still left a lasting impression.

The musical performance was supported by the use of projector and canvas, so that guests could actively participate. Another confirmation of confirmation took care of the technology in advance and ensured that the texts were all visible.

When the trombone choir director Lothar finally sat in Germany and European anthem, the highlight of the evening was reached. Thomas Brückner used the moment to recognize the excellent work to promote young wind players. Pastor Michael Weber ended the official celebration with an evening blessing that left those present with positive thoughts.

In the joint review, both guests and actors agreed: This type of celebration is not only a festive gathering, but also makes a valuable contribution to mutual understanding and respectful cooperation, regardless of origin and culture. The central message of the evening was the tireless desire for peace, which made all the connection and community present felt. This event is not only a tradition, but also an important symbol for cohesion and the common values in a always changing society.
