Madeline from Penig is looking for great love at first dates in Cologne!

Cologne/Penig.

On Monday, October 14th, at 6 p.m., it will be exciting: Madeline, a young woman from Penig in the Central Saxony region, dares to search for great love at the popular VOX show "First Dates". She brought this courageous decision in the middle of the spotlight and the spectators can already stream the recording on RTL+. In a conversation with Blick.de she gives insights into her motives and the background of her participation.

Why “first dates”? Madeline finds a great opportunity to not only meet a potential partner, but also to enjoy the ambience of a restaurant. "It is an exciting experience to simply get involved with something unknown," said Madeline. It is of the opinion that you often stay in a familiar environment and that the format offers the opportunity to look outside the box. The 24-year-old already has experience from other television programs that dealt with her passion for cooking. "I somehow licked blood when it comes to TV formats in connection with culinary delights," she reveals.

an exciting day of shooting in the cathedral city

The shoot in Cologne was a unique experience for Madeline. Europe's third largest city offered the perfect backdrop for a romantic dinner, even if the “restaurant” did not have the traditional format, but was artfully set up as a set. "I was impressed by the team's professionalism and organization," she reports. A particularly formative moment was the food for her: "Not only does it look great, but also tastes really good. The cocktails are simply awesome!"

Madeline's adventure began in the morning on the day of shooting. After a taxi ride to the set, she explained that there were interviews beforehand. Here she was asked questions such as: "How does your dream partner look like?" And "What are your no-gos on a date?" In order to prevent a targeted encounter between the sexes, men and women were separated on the set, which further increased the tension. "If you had to go to the toilet, you had to ring the doorbell, and only when everything was clear you were allowed to get out," she describes the special rules on the set. Despite the repeated interruptions, she met other participants in the backstage area and helped some of them in styling.

Madeline received special support from her friend, who accompanied her to this adventure. "She wanted to take my excitement a little - which didn't really work," she smiles. But not everything stayed with television. The two also used the time in Cologne for an exploration trip: "We took a typical tourist photo in front of the Cologne Cathedral and, very important, I ate an incredible Dürüm by Lukas Podolski right in front of the cathedral. He was a little greasy for 9 euros, but it was just awesome!"

looking for great love

Whether Madeline can find their great love by participating in "First Dates" remains exciting. Her experiences in the show are the result of her daring and curiosity and are in a warm contrast to the nervousness that she felt. "I was already seen in other TV formats, but this experience was very special-a real date in front of the camera," she says. Madeline sees this as a valuable way to meet new people and to expand their perspective.

In the end it will be shown whether the trip to Cologne Madeline's heart has conquered. But it is already clear: this experience will remain unforgettable for you, and who knows, maybe the small town of Penig can soon tell about a new love story. Details on your experiences in the show will certainly provide exciting entertainment, As reports www.blick.de .
