PIK-AS Revival: Christa Klinkenberg celebrates the dance pleasure at the age of 76!

A touch of nostalgia blows through Euskirchen! On Saturday, November 16, the legendary disco PIK-AS will be brought back to life with a spectacular revival party in Franconia. Christa Klinkenberg, who is still full of energy at the age of 76, can hardly wait to conquer the dance floor. "I want to dance, go to the role, have a good time," she enthuses. The memories of the glorious times in Bergerstrasse, where the pik-as was once a hotspot, are alive than ever.

The pik-as was the place where the youth of the city gathered to celebrate, flirt and experience unforgettable nights. "At that time, the apprentices were at the door in snakes on Sundays," recalls Christa. But times have changed. Today nothing is reminiscent of the pulsating disco that closed its gates in 1977. Instead, there is a company building at the former address. But the Klinkenbergs do not let the memories fade. "We don't want to miss the time," explains Christa, while making preparations for the big celebration.

The revival party in the Frankengraben

from 6 p.m. in the Frankengraben will be "bumped" again! The anticipation is great and the long guest list is already filled. "I have already received many commitments," says Christa Stolz. The physical well -being is taken care of: meatballs are served and the music is played via a smartphone because most DJs of the time no longer want to be among us. "The world has become more digital," she smiles. But the atmosphere will be the same as when the pik-AS conquered the hearts of the celebrant.

The Klinkenbergs not only chose the revival party because Richard Albinger, the operator of the Franconian grave, was a former regular guest of the PIC. "Incredibly good music is played here," enthuses Christa. The preparations are in full swing, and the anticipation of an unforgettable night increases.
