Fireworks accident for Christmas: 14-year-old loses fingers!
In the middle of the celebrations for Christmas, a tragic accident tragedy occurred in Wr. Neustadt, Lower Austria. On December 24th there was a serious incident at around 4 p.m. when a 14-year-old was handling a fireworks in a courtyard. Reports from Welt there was another difficult incident in the North Rhine 14-year-old separated two fingers. The youngsters had illegally ignited fireworks of class F3 in Nordkirchen, which may only be burned down by trained people. It is still unclear how they got to the dangerous firecrackers.
The injured young people who were brought to different hospitals are outside of life. Overall, an alarming number of pyrotechnics in Germany was registered on New Year's Eve, including fatal accidents that led to a publicly discussed risk during the celebrations. This year, several young people have been injured or even killed by improper handling of fireworks. Investigations into the circumstances and the origin of the firecrackers are underway to better understand the dangers of this tradition.
