Bicycle theft in Uelzen: Police are looking for owners of two bikes!

During a nighttime check on October 3rd, 2024, around 11:30 p.m., on Kagenbergstrasse, the police came across a suspicious man with two bicycles from the renowned brands “Raleigh” and “Kalkhoff”. The officers quickly suspected that these bikes were not legally owned by the man. Immediate measures were taken: the bicycles were confiscated and the police are now looking for the rightful owners.

Bicycles from Bad Bevensen

A particularly interesting detail: One of the confiscated bicycles came from a bicycle dealer in Bad Bevensen. This could provide clues to the origin of the bike and possibly make it easier to find the owners. The Uelzen police are therefore asking anyone who has information about the bicycles or believes that one of the bicycles belongs to them to contact us immediately. You can contact us at 0581-930-0.

The situation raises questions: How did the man come into possession of these bicycles? And where are the rightful owners? The police are determined to shed light on the matter and return the bikes to their owners as quickly as possible. Every clue counts!
