Hannover, Deutschland - scandal in Lower Saxony! Investigators have carried out in a nationwide campaign against a network of fraudsters at driver's license tests. In Hanover and six other federal states, more than 40 objects were searched, 15 apartments in the Hanover area alone. The suspicious crooks, sometimes aged 24 to 32, are suspected of systematically cheating on theoretical driving license tests. It is a meeting of the worst variety - the finest certificate of documents!

The police and public prosecutor's office in Hanover have been investigating since mid-2022 after a 32-year-old main suspect was targeted. Now it turns out that five other accomplices from the Hanover region are also involved in the machinations. Arrest warrant was even issued against one of these suspects. The suspicion? Gang and commercial forgery of documents on a previously unknown level!

How the fraud worked

But how did you do it? The brazen fraudsters not only did the exams for the real test subjects, but also used modern technology! Test subjects were equipped with hidden cameras to hear the correct answers during the exams from the background. This is not an isolated case: Last year, the TÜV reported record numbers of fraud attempts at driver's license tests!

The searches brought impressive evidence to light. In Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and other federal states, prepared clothing with audio and video technology was ensured. In addition, the police were able to confiscate 50 mobile phones, computers, tablets and even around 100,000 euros in cash, gold and a shot gun! The seriousness of the situation cannot be overlooked here - these are professionals who did not stretch in front of the laws of the law!
