Cloppenburg asks: How attractive is our city center for you?
The city center of Cloppenburg is the focus: How attractive are our business for visitors? This explosive question asks the study "Vital Cities", carried out by the renowned market research institute ifH from Cologne. Since 2014, a large -scale passer -by survey has been carried out in over 100 cities every two years, and in 2023 Cloppenburg is also involved! On the coming Thursday and Saturday days, October 24th and 26th, teams of city marketing in the busy pedestrian zones, especially in Mühlenstraße and Bahnhofstrasse, will be on the road from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to carry out short interviews. A few minutes of the conversation are sufficient, and the answers are recorded anonymously - no names, no personal data.
survey about the city center: What do citizens think?
But what exactly is it about? The survey aims to obtain personal assessments of the relevance of the city center, the ranges and services offered as well as suggestions for improvement for the shopping experience. This year there are important topics such as mobility, urban climate and the turnover of traffic. "We hope for numerous participants from all ages," explains Andy Albers, head of the city marketing department, business development, communication and innovation. Later the collected data will be evaluated by the IFH, both locally and in a nationwide comparison, to identify trends and to develop valuable strategies for the future.
This survey is the chance for citizens to help shape the attractiveness of your city center in a very convenience! The results could produce pioneering approaches and inspiring ideas that strengthen retail in Cloppenburg. Be there and participate - your word counts!
