Stau-chaos in Stralsund: All current traffic information at a glance!

Current traffic in and around Stralsund is now extensively monitored by the OZ-Stäumelder. The report dated January 12, 2025 shows that the traffic jam warning provides information about traffic jams, construction sites, accidents and traffic delays in real time. The data collected comes from Stralsund, Rügen and the surrounding region, including the A20 motorway and the federal roads B96, B105, B194 and B196.

The traffic jam warning works with the "TomTom" service, which uses GPS data of several million devices. This is supported by automatic data from around 80 million mobile phone devices and numerous official road sensors. The information is updated every five minutes to quickly inform about current events. In addition, other providers of transport information such as Google Maps, Apple maps and Garmin are also available.
