First aider films horror accident: Smartphone confiscated!

Wildeshausen, Deutschland - Delmenhorst (ots)

A dramatic rear -end collision on Autobahn 1 in Wildeshausen produced shocking scenes on Monday, November 18, 2024! Around 3:20 p.m., a man, probably from Romania, bounced down to the rear of a semitrailer with his van, which had to brake to just 20 km/h due to a traffic jam. The driver was injured seriously to life -threatening and was initially trapped in his driver's caber until the Wildeshausen volunteer fire brigade was able to free him!

The operation was anything but usual! A rescue helicopter landed directly on the locked road to transport the seriously injured man to a clinic. Fortunately, the driver of the tractor-trailer, a 35-year-old woman from Poland, remained unharmed. Over 35 fire brigade forces, two ambulances and an emergency doctor vehicle were alerted. The property damage is estimated at around 50,000 euros, while traffic to Ahlhorner triangle stalled.

A terrifying behavior of a first aider!

But the shocking events did not stop here! A 20-year-old first aider from Hamburg filmed the subsequent rescue measures with his smartphone and thus showed the helplessness of the trapped driver. The Ahlhorn motorway police could only watch horror! An investigation against the young man was immediately initiated and his valuable smartphone was confiscated - as evidence in this scandalous case. The accusation? Violation of the highly personal area of life!

The motorway in the direction of Hamburg remains closed, while the accident recording is still in full swing. The police officers not only have to determine the causes of the accident, but also remove the leaked operating materials and mount the heavily damaged small vans. The return to normality can be expected in the late evening at the earliest!
