Firefighter magic at the Oeventrop street run: Healthy comrades in action!

Arnsberg– Autumnal mood, unshakable energy! The TuS Oeventrop 1896 invited people to the rousing Oeventrop street run for the 42nd time, and the fire department was there! Among the numerous participants, 16 heroic firefighter colleagues from the Neheim and Arnsberg main stations came together to demonstrate their endurance and community. The starting signal for the exciting 5000 meter run was given at eleven o'clock, in which the firefighters presented themselves well prepared.

Focus on fitness

Fitness isn’t just a buzzword for firefighters – it’s a life necessity! Every operation requires outstanding physical fitness, and that's exactly what the brave firefighters demonstrated. In order to stay in top shape, the guards have the best conditions with fitness rooms. During their 24-hour shift work, they can do cardio and strength training so that they are always ready when the alarm goes off!

The race was a resounding success as all 16 firefighters reached the finish line with flying colors! After a competition full of effort and team spirit, the Oeventrop fire brigade invited the participants to their in-house equipment shed. Not only were there freshly grilled bratwursts, but also many stimulating conversations that celebrated camaraderie and community spirit. Despite the adverse weather conditions, this event was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved!
