Lohmar is trembling with danger!A shock for the residents: In the evening, the Lohmar fire department was called with alarm signals to a dangerous fire in a plastics processing company. When the emergency services arrived, the situation was clear and a higher alert level was immediately declared! Two machines were engulfed in blazing flames and threatened to spread further.
The brave firefighters courageously launched an internal attack and were able to successfully extinguish the fire. In order to minimize the devastating effects, the LUF 60 air conveyor was requested from the Rhein-Sieg district. This led to reinforcements from the Siegburg fire department, who actively supported us!

After the intensive operation, the follow-up inspections shortly after midnight fortunately showed no further smoldering fires - a relief for everyone! The last emergency services were able to enjoy a well-deserved night's rest after preventing a potential major fire at the last second.
