The war in Ukraine has been raging for 1000 days - an unbearable memorial for the loss of hundreds of human life on the fronts and in the cities! Brutal torture, deported people and excessive murders shape the image in the areas occupied by Russia. The occupied Crimea and Donbass have been suffering from this terrible occupation for over a decade. The Russian raid was the terrifying climax of this massive use of violence.

While western countries are desperately trying to bring about de -escalation, Russia has raised aggression to a new level. A few days after a phone call from Chancellor Olaf Scholz with President Vladimir Putin, in which he was promoted, devastating air strikes occurred in Ukrainian cities! Even though Scholz had just rejected the delivery of German weapons, for fear of further escalation. On the other hand, US President Joe Biden could have already approved posting of weapons for Ukrainian remote attacks. Where's the clear line?

Politics of confusion

Scholz gives Ukraine support, but also shows itself as a messenger of Russian intimidation. Its strange distinction between help for Ukraine and the German social system has a constructed and misleading effect. It's not just an alms that Kyiv gets from us! It is about our own survival and about stopping the Russian aggressor, which not only threatens Ukraine, but ultimately also the consistency. Peace under Russian conditions could be the beginning of the end of a stable European order!

The EU must finally appear strong and closed! Despite the global unrest and uncertainty under Trump, Russia is economically weak. The growing problems within Russia must not be ignored. The most dangerous mistake would be to continue to tolerate the aggressive strategy of the Kremlin, which is based on nuclear extortion.
