Bayern fans are calling for a boycott: ticket prices are outrageously high!

The anger of the Bayern fans is boiling over! The ticket prices for the Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk on December 10, 2024 in the Veltins Arena at Schalke are simply unbearable for many supporters. FC Bayern's first fan club has now drawn the consequences and is calling for a boycott!

A call was published on the popular fan page “Südkurve München” that is spreading like wildfire. "Boycott the Donetsk away game! Cancel your tickets! (…) Bayern fans, don't let yourself be taken for a ride and boycott the away game at Shakhtar Donetsk," it says emphatically. The active fan scene has announced that large parts of the south curve will not travel to Gelsenkirchen due to the exorbitant ticket prices.

Prices that shock!

The reason for the uprising? The ticket prices are simply excessive! Fans have to pay at least 105 euros for a seat - a tough blow considering that prices for less attractive games, such as against Atalanta Bergamo, start at just 28 euros. Even the standing room cost a fortune against Bayern at 52 euros, while against Atalanta it was 23 euros. The fans feel ripped off and demand fair pricing!

The operators of the fan site are calling on people to take advantage of FC Bayern's offer and cancel the tickets by Monday, November 4th, 12 p.m. It is expected that many seats will remain empty, which is particularly annoying as the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen is easily accessible for many Bayern supporters. The boycott could have a significant impact on the mood at this prestigious duel!
