Anyone who has passed the striking bank building in the past few months has been able to admire the extensive renovation work. "We are converting for you," announced a large banner. The basic renovation of the ground floor and the first floor has now been successfully completed. With an investment of around seven million euros, the building, which was built in 1986, is modernized and brought up to the latest state of the art. The renovation includes essential improvements in the areas of heating, ventilation, climate and sanitary as well as compliance with current fire protection guidelines.

The new rooms are not only functional, but also sustainable. While the room layout has largely been maintained, the new advisory rooms and workplaces shine through modern equipment and the use of environmentally friendly materials. The facade remains unchanged, which preserves the character of the building. The work on the second and third floor is planned for March 2025 and will expand the bank with office space for employees and a canteen with meeting rooms.

The renovation went smoothly despite slight delays, thanks to the excellent cooperation with regional craftsmen. The first construction phase, which included the renovation of the ground floor and the first floor, was completed on time. In order to maintain the operation, machines were temporarily set up in Cannstatter Straße 40. The new modern cash recyclers offer both one and payment functions.
