Corinna Pavel: A life for the Vesperkirche and the people in need
In a tragic turn, the Eastern Vregion has lost an important personality: Corinna Pavel, the tireless force behind the Wasseralfinger Vesperkirche, died at the age of 67 after a brave fight against cancer. As a wife of the former district administrator Klaus Pavel, she played a central role in the organization of this benefit campaign, which has been supplied with over 6000 free meals for years. Her trip began in 1999 as an employee before she took on the direction in 2012 and led the initiative with incredible commitment and heart.
Corinna was more than just a front woman; It was the engine, the organizational genius in the background that gave the threads together. Equipped with a diploma in administrative sciences, she ensured that the Vesperkirche went smoothly, recruited new volunteers and coordinated all processes. In addition to her love of organization, she also had a big heart for art and culture-she initiated the cultural night table that made it possible to offer guests a special evening.
creativity and empathy until the end
Corinna Pavel was not only a networker in the region, but also had connections to the top. Her warm nature and empathy for the poor made you a sought -after host for prominent guests such as Federal Minister and state politician. Her efforts to help in the "cuisine of mercy" in Armenia testify to their deep humanity and their tireless efforts for the weak. The funeral service in honor of this admired woman will take place on October 31st in the Magdalenkirche in Wasseralfingen. Her urn will later be buried in the family, a last resting place for a woman who did so much good.
