Heidelberg fights against anti -Semitism: new registration office set up!

Heidelberg, Deutschland - Heidelberg raises the alarm! The city has launched a brand new "Anti -Semitism reporting point" in order to immediately record and document anti -Semitic incidents. This initiative aims to develop targeted prevention measures and create a safe environment for the Jewish community.

Mayor Eckart Würzner commented concerns about the worrying increase in anti -Semitic incidents. "Unfortunately, anti -Semitism increases more and more," he emphasized at a press conference. The city of Heidelberg takes the protection of Jewish life very seriously and is committed to combating anti -Semitism as a central concern.

shocking incident in the old town

A particularly terrifying incident only occurred in September when a tourist in the old town was attacked anti-Semitically just because she was wearing a T-shirt with the inscription "Bring Home Now" and a Davidstern. This incident not only caused horror in Heidelberg, but nationwide and shocked the public.

The new registration office, which is located at the Office for Equal Opportunities, offers those affected by discrimination, harassment or violence.
